Hyt 60®

The special construction steel HYT60® was specially developed by us for valve and hydraulic system construction. Due to its dense structure this forged steel meets the strictest requirements, even at high operating pressures. It combines the mechanical properties of the material steel with the machining advantages of cast materials. In this way, during boring and milling, a higher tool service life and a reduced surface roughness for fine machining are achieved. Due to the extremely favourable chip breakage, unmanned machining is possible. In addition, HYT60® is characterised by its absolute homogeneity and oil leakage tightness. We supply HYT60® as a flat and square steel, forged, in production lengths from 3,000 to 6,000 mm and in blocks, individually 3D forged in 340 - 700 mm four square, up to a maximum individual weight of approx. 12 tonnes.
