Forged products
Forged products in many different dimensions, forms and qualities are manufactured at the ssk von schaewen in Hückeswagen and Wetter.
In Hückeswagen we manufacture on two CNC-controlled forging presses with a pressure force of 730 and 2000 tonnes, forged steel bars and open-die forgings made of unalloyed and alloyed steels up to an individual weight of approx. 16 tonnes, round dimensions, square dimensions and flat dimensions up to a length of approx. 14m, offset forged shafts, flanged shafts and journals, piston rods with forged eyes, discs, perforated discs and forged rings, forged pipes, cylinders, bushes and other hollow bodies, blocks and plates.
In Wetter we set new standards with our 3,000 tonne forging press. Our products include forged pieces up to 35 tonnes individual weight, forged plates up to a width of 2,300 mm, blocks, round bars and square bars up to 1,050 mm diameter, disks and perforated disks up to 2,400 mm outside diameter, offset shafts, tubes etc. up to a maximum operational weight of 40 tonnes.
Experienced employees and a certified quality management system ensure a consistently high quality. This is impressively proven by approvals issued by the classification bodies GL, TÜV, DNV, LRS, ABS and DB (German Rail Company).
Hückeswagen: Forged pieces up to a length of 14m and with an individual weight of up to 16 tonnes, max. 20 tonnes operational weight
Wetter: Forged pieces up to a length of 18 m and with an individual weight of up to 33 tonnes, max. 40 tonnes operational weight
