Welding
Our welded products are in demand throughout Europe. Whether mechanical engineering, crane construction, the offshore sector etc., in our facilities in Essen and Swietochlowice
(von Schaewen Polska) we carry out almost every type of welding work. This includes production of large format welding structures with a weight of up to 60 tonnes. For this purpose both the general construction steels S235 and S355 are used as well as the state-of-the-art fine grain steel for structural use S690QL and S960QL, as well as their combinations.
Our range of services also includes production of welded structures such as S355 with 34CrNiMo6 or 42CrMo4, as well as custom welding solid pieces weighing up to 60 tonnes.
To do this we also use wear and corrosion resistant welding alloys. For this purpose welding procedures such as solid wire and flux cored welding (MAG M), single and double wire submerged welding (UP) or hand arc welding (E) are used.
Our expertise in this specialized area is documented by the major welding certificate (manufacturer's qualification for the welding of steel structures according to DIN 18800-7:2002, Class E).
