14 CNC flame cutting machines

When it‘s all about flat products, we are the right partner for you, as we are able to meet virtually all customer needs and process even large dimensions with our 14 flame cutting machines with up to 6 burners operating at the same time.

Up to 1,400 x 7,800 x 20,000 mm 60 tons piece weight

With our flat products we are clearly focussed. Five types of material, a wide range of material thicknesses and extremely thick material, that‘s what we stand for. In our own plant we cut flat products up to 1,400 mm thickness in a two dimensional way.

Flame cutting robots

With our two flame cutting robots we are able to carry out diagonal cuts up to 550 mm thick, for example for chamfers and cones. Qualified and experienced staff guarantees an exact execution of the cuts even for extreme or unusual dimensions of a work piece. Our precise burner control enables us to deal even with complex geometries without problems.

Comprehensive Stock      

Our warehouse includes sheet metal and hot rolled flat products with thicknesses ranging from 20 to 700 mm, widths up to 4,000 mm and lengths up to 13,000 mm. This large stock of sheet metal and flat products guarantees our customers a prompt processing even for short-term delivery dates.

 

Data Transfer

Principally, a drawing is all we need to implement our customers‘ requirements. It is even easier, if software-based DXF or DWG files are at our disposal. Data from programmes such as CATIA and ProEngineer can be imported into our CN controlled machines and converted into digital cutting patterns.

Documented Quality

Our experienced personnel and our certified quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 ensure a consistently high level of quality of our products and services. On request we, as the manufacturer, provide mill certificates 2.2 or acceptance certificates 3.1 according to DIN EN 10204. Furthermore, we are entitled to give our sheet metal and moulded parts the CE stamp. Our business activities also comprise the acceptance inspection of materials according to the directives issued by the classification societies, and the US inspection according to DIN EN 10160 is also included in our range of services.

Optimally coordinated production possibilities

Every von Schaewen product, from the forged piece, to the flame-cut part, to the welded steel structure, can be machined or pre-machined upon request, up to the point of ready to be installed tool or machine components. Our offer is made complete by the appropriate heat treatment process for achieving the material properties you require.
