Full Description:

This closing cylinder pipe was created for an injection-molding machine manufacturer. The closing cylinder presses (closes) the plates of an injection-molding machine against each other. Our customers manufacture systems with capacity from a few 100 kN to over 30,000 kN.

The special feature of this order is in the very complex mechanical processing in several stages. The pipe was finished completely in-house. This includes the turning and boring, as well as hollowing according to customer drawing. A part of the processing could be implemented only with a special-purpose tool, made available through the customer.

As a result of our wide-ranging product and service spectrum, from forging, through heat treatment, extending to the complete mechanical processing, the order could be implemented from a single source to the fullest satisfaction of the customer.
