Reference Slide-on Arm

Full Description:

Together with the collets, the slide-on arms form the grippers of a modern mechanical manipulator. With this, the raw blocks are moved under the forging press, held and rotated. The largest mechanical manipulators can lift and move raw blocks up to a weight of 250 tons.

The special feature of this component is in the high manufacturing extent and the complex geometry of the part. The material was burned in our own premises in several levels, heat-treated and preprocessed mechanically in several stages and finished. All required tests and acceptances were also implemented in our own testing laboratory.

Thus our customer had a fixed point of contact for all requirements.
